Hi! Welcome to Playful Paws. My name is Lauren. My dog's name is Willow. She is full of energy and lots of love; her favorite things to do are bark at skateboarders and chase rabbits. Dogs are my passion and the light of my life. So, after years of helping out neighbors, family and friends with dog sitting, I decided to create my own business. I began in Loveland, CO, then moved my business to the Yulee area after marrying the love of my life, a Navy sailor and his sweet Boxer, Maggie. I also have recent experience in a veterinary office. I provide in-home visits and dog walks whenever you have the need. Before any visits are booked, I like to have a Meet and Greet with owner and pets to be sure everyone is comfortable with each other and so I can learn your pet's needs. Not spending as much time as you’d like with your pet? Don’t let your busy schedule interfere with your furry friend’s well-being. Give the care and attention they deserve by taking advantage of my services. Dog walks can be included in drop-in visits, if requested.

Drop-in visits include, feeding, water, potty breaks, walks (if requested), playtime, medication administration (if needed) and lots of love!
Sometimes these visits are requested multiple times per day while owners are on vacation or once a day, on days when owners work long hours or take a day trip. Either way, I’m here for you!
Boarding
Responsible & Reliable & Experienced
Boarding with us includes frequent potty breaks, supervised meal times, cozy couches, blankets and dog beds, lots of toys, a fenced in backyard for sunshine or shade and room to play ball and lots of love from my husband and I, plus our two girls, Willow (5 year old Jack Russell/Chihuahua)and Maggie (8 year old Boxer). We prefer to take medium and small breeds due to our little one, but it is negotiable. We prefer to take no more than one dog family at a time, two dogs total to be sure everyone gets the attention they deserve. I truly believe dogs are God’s gift to humans. My dream is to, one-day, open a no-kill shelter with my husband. In the meantime I’m enjoying giving exercise, sunshine, playtime and meal time to my local furry friends.

I prefer 2-3 to be sure everyone gets attention.
My dog needs to go to the vet. Can you take her?
Yes, if you have a scheduled appointment, I can certainly transport your dog to and from the vet. In cases of emergency, I’ll contact you, the owner, first and go from there.
Do you have experience with rare or exotic pets?
